I'm in a contract with my current processor. Can I still switch?
Usually, yes. Most processing contracts have an early termination fee, not a lock. When we review your statement we'll tell you if there's an ETF, what it costs, and whether your savings cover it — often they do within a couple of months. If the math doesn't work yet, we'll tell you to wait until renewal, and when.
What's the catch with the free POS?
The hardware is included while you process with us — that's the whole arrangement. No lease, no rental fee, no equipment contract, nothing to pay off if you leave. What we will never do is put you in an equipment lease; 48-month non-cancellable leases on a $300 terminal are one of the oldest tricks in this industry, and we don't play it.
How can processing costs be "eliminated entirely"?
Through a compliant cash-discount (dual-pricing) program: your posted prices include the card fee, and customers who pay cash get a discount. Done correctly — with proper signage and receipts — it's fully allowed by the card brands, and thousands of businesses run this way. It isn't right for every business, which is why we show you the numbers both ways and let you choose. No pressure toward either.
What happens to my statement after I send it?
John reads it, builds your rate comparison, and sends it back to you. That's it. Your statement is never sold, shared, or used for anything besides your review — and if you want it deleted afterward, say the word. Details in our privacy policy.
What if you can't beat my current rate?
Then we'll tell you exactly that, and you'll know your setup is solid — which is worth knowing. About one in five statements we see is already priced fairly. You lose nothing either way; the review is free and there's no obligation.
